Meet Shadi Monghate

Children’s book author creating gentle, meaningful stories inspired by timeless wisdom, imagination and the choices that help us grow.

I have always loved stories that carry a deeper meaning. Through my children’s book, I hope to create gentle and imaginative stories that encourage children to think, make wise choices, and discover the value of kindness, compassion, and unity.

As an Iranian author, I draw inspiration from the rich spiritual and literary heritage of my home country, Iran, and the wisdom of its poets and mystics, including Rumi, whose teachings inspired my first children’s book,

One Bite Too Many.

Stories with Meaning

I believe children’s stories can do more than entertain. They can gently open child’s heart and mind to ideas such as kindness, peace, and making thoughtful choices.

Through simple stories and memorable characters, I hope to create books that children enjoy-and carry with them long after the last page.
